As the founder and perfumer, I’ve made it my mission to ensure that every note, every molecule and every drop in our fragrances is sourced with care, precision and integrity.

I work with a palette that includes some of the most beautiful natural ingredients in the world: rich Madagascan vanilla, earthy Indonesian patchouli, smooth Haitian vetiver, radiant Calabrian bergamot, deep Somalian frankincense, and the incomparable rose ultimate; a rare and highly refined extract that offers unparalleled floral depth. These are not just raw materials; they are cultural legacies, gathered from regions with centuries of perfumery tradition.

But nature, as powerful as it is, does not exist in a vacuum. I also embrace the beauty and purpose of aromatic molecules – modern, lab-crafted ingredients that give structure, longevity and nuance to our perfumes. These molecules often replicate scents that are endangered in nature or create entirely new sensations that nature simply doesn’t provide. For me, they are tools of creativity and sustainability alike.

Safety is non-negotiable. ARAKYÁL adheres strictly to European Union regulations, which set legal limits on certain ingredients, natural or synthetic, to ensure skin safety and minimise allergens. This includes components found in essential oils, like linalool or limonene, which are carefully balanced to meet legal thresholds. These regulations don’t hinder creativity; they refine it. They push perfumers to think smarter, to innovate responsibly and to build beauty that lasts.
